On doing more genealogy work, David McConnell, Jr., son of David McConnell and Catherine Hineman traveled from LaCrosse Co., Wisconsin to Kansas (not Minnesota)as his wife's parents moved to Kansas (Fort Reily area). David McConnell, Sr, came first to Walworth Co., Wisconsin from the Trumbull Co./Portage Co., Ohio area around 1843. David, Sr. moved to LaCrosse Co., Wi around 1852-3 from Walworth Co., Wi. David, Sr. was born around 1792-3 in Pa. and may be a son of John McConnell. I'm still working on this kinship. akneavel@cox.net.
