Age 92. She was a native and lifelong resident of New Orleans. Beloved wife of the late James McConnell. Loving mother of the late Jane Mary McConnell Meliet. Mother-in-law of the late William F. Meliet. Grandmother of Jay Meliet, Jeanne Meliet Dutruch (Randy), Michelle Meliet Remy (Troy) and Jan Picadash. Great grandmother of Meg Meliet, Coleman Dutruch, and Peyton, Preston and Barrett Remy. Also survived by 2 brothers, 2 sisters and a host of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Henry Lee Clark and Adline Jacob Clark. She was a Krewe member of the ladies carnival club Venus.
