Even if your son NEVER comes around, some of his descendants will appreciate your work. Remember, too, that nearly all kids will receive some sort of family tree assignment from school sometime during their childhood. You will probably get a chance to help with that. Thank you for trying to recruit your son for the project. I am optimistic that somebody from the line of your Joseph McConnell will be found to join the project sooner or later. Already we have about twice as many McConnells on the project tables as we did a year ago, and more results will be coming from the lab very soon.
