When I look for your Michigan-Canada-New York results in the Sorenson database, I find that they are incomplete, and it may also be that you have more results for Sorenson markers that are not in the FTDNA 67 marker set than for Sorenson markers that are in the FTDNA 67 marker set. So you should not be getting matches for most of your FTDNA results using the online SMGF database, because most of your Sorenson results haven't been posted to the SMGF database yet. Some people are getting their SMGF results through a company called Genetree. If this is the case with you, then I guess you might have more results reported by Genetree than have been uploaded to the SMGF database. If you believe that you have results from Genetree, please be careful about that. Some of the posts that I have seen on the Genealogy-DNA list make me wonder if they have their act together yet (they're new to this) and even if there may be con artists pretending to be Genetree. Another thing to be careful about when comparing your FTDNA and SMGF results is that the 2 organizations report results differently. If you want to compare your FTDNA results with your SMGF results, you can enter the values as reported by FTDNA, but you have to be careful to do 2 things. One is to choose the FTDNA lab standard on the SMGF database search page, so that SMGF is not comparing apples and oranges. Another thing you have to be careful about is the order for entry of results on the SMGF search page. It starts out the same as the order used by FTDNA, but it deviates when you get a little more than halfway down the 3rd column on the SMGF search page. If you want me to, I can take a look at how your results from the two organizations compare. Are your results posted on the Clan Donald DNA Project tables or on ysearch?
