The age data on William is interesting because there was a couple in Lambertville I thought might be his parents, but they had a son William born in 1869, which would make that William younger than the 1910 census says yours was. (Also younger than what the 1920 census says) If the Lambertville couple's child were actually older than your William is supposed to be, I would shrug it off. But usually years get taken off as people get older, not vice versa. Still, we are only talking about a 2 or 3 year difference. Another problem with the Lambertville family is that I don't see a Margaret in their family, and the 1920 census shows a Margaret, sister of William, in the household of your great grandparents. It sounds like your grandmother doesn't have much knowledge of her McConnell grandparents. Did she know them at at all, and does she have any idea when they died?
