He married Janet McLeod (b. 1844 PEI) in 1866, and in 1873(?) he and many members of his and her extended familes moved to what is now the area around Gladstone, Manitoba (Golden Stream District). He died in 1931 in Winnipeg and is buried in the Gladstone cemetery. If this is the person you're looking for I'd be happy to share whatever information I have.
