    2. I am looking for information on a Charlie or James McConnell who were born in Canada and moved to VT. I have James McConnell's death certificate that states his father, Charles was born in Canada but doesn't say where in Canada. My grandfather, Charlie Edwin McConnell, son of James McConnell, told me that they had a naming sequence, James, Charles, James, Charles, etc and I assume that since my ggrandfather, James, was named after his grandfather since his father's name was Charles. Does this make sense? I need some help in pursuing this branch further to see if they were from Ireland or Scotland. -- Margaret
