They likely were in Armstrong County, PA in 1834-1840. 2 sons, Moses and Joseph were born in PA in 1842 and 1845. Eventually the family moved to Texas. Rebecca is the daughter of John Moorhead and Margaret Wishard of Armstrong County, PA. She is listed in her fathers will (written in 1834) as Rebecca McClane. I believe William may be the son of Moses McClain of Armstrong County, PA. 2 researchers list his son William as being married to Margaret Morehead but I'm not sure where they got the name Margaret. Any info would be helpful!
