I'm looking for information on William Thomas McClain born abt 1796 of Boone, Kentucky-d. 1850 Linn Co, OR and his wife Malinda Oakley b. about 1800 Montgomery Co, KY- d. 1845 Missouri. Their daughter, Louisa was my husband's 3ggrandmother and travelled the Oregon Trail with her father and husband to be. I have that William's parents were John McClain and Rachel Jones and that he and Malinda had 10 children, I know nothing yet about his parents or any siblings beyond the names of his parents.
