Looking for any information on James McClain born either Kentucky or Tennessee in about 1795. He married a lady by the name of Ellen. They are both buried in Cooper Co. Missouri in the Saline Township Cemetery. They had the following children: Elizabeth, John, Sevier, Rebecca, Mary, James S., Jane and Marion. Sevier born January 17, 1824 and married Elizabeth Jane Carey March 30, 1852. Elizabeth was born August 23, 1834 in Cooper County, Missouri. Sevier is my gggrandad. He was in the Mexican War.
