Hi I am researching the decedents of John and Isabella McCLAIN. I show that John was born in or around Ohio Co, VA about 1742. I show that he died there on or about May 1813. One child I'm particularly interested in - Archibald McCLAIN born 08 Feb 1771 possibly PA. Archibald removed eventually to Wayne Co. IN and finally to Delaware Co. IN where he died 05 Apr 1851. He was buried in the Ashenfelter Cemetery, Union Twp, Delaware Co. IN, along with his wife Rhoda Jane DEWEY. One daughter Jane b. about 1818 in Wayne Co, (named for Archibald's sister Jane) married David LYKINS (spelled LYKINGS on the marriage records) on 13 Jun 1838 in Wayne Co.. Both Jane and David died in Delaware Co. IN. Questions? 1. Who was Isabella and who were her parents? 2.
