He was the son of David McLaine an Matilda Ellen Reed(Reid). David McLaine was the son of Joseph McLain(McClaine) and Margaret. I have followed this family from the 1850 cenus until 1900 census. Joseph and Nannie had five boys, their names are: Chester, Scott, Russell, Donald and Gray(these names are from Nannie's Obituary.) Scott's full name is David Scott McClain born 4/2/1907. All in Clarion Co., Pennsylvania. Scott is living with my great grandparents in 1920, Piney, Clarion Co., PA. Scott married a Dorothy Palmer. Nannie Belle Beer is my 1st cousin. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
