Edna Mae McClain was my grandmother who was born the 12 of may in 1916 in clarksburg, west virgina. She married a John Hamilton Ford and had three girls. Edna Mae pasted away may 5 of 1966 in springfield, ohio. Edna was one out of six children by Peter Alexander McClain. Peter was born March 27 of 1875 in Weston, West Virginia. He married a Rachel Molinda Marsh in Weston, West Virgina. He was Kicked out of West Virgina by the KKK cause he poision the family drinking well while the family was in church. He moved to Springfield, Ohio in 1926 and changed his name to Harold Bailey to hide from the KKK. While he was in ohio he meet a lady name Fannie Mae ( maiden name is unknowed) and also had one child. He pasted away in March 5 of 1946 in Wellsburg, West Virgina. The childrens names of Peter and Rachel's are as Follwed; James Cecil McClain, William Doresy McClain ( Iva ) , orville Evert McClain, Ova Janet (McClain) car! son, Peter Russell McClain. Peter's parents are Hamilton McClain and Janet Barb, both are from Weston, west virgina. Hamilton and Janet had three children ( Peter Alexander, Anna, and Willa). The Father of Hamilton IS William McClain and he was born about 100 in white's camp run, west virgina.
