This is in 1830c of Pa. There is also a William who is there in 1820c of Pen in Dallas Twp, Bedford Co. They should be checked as there isn't very many left in that twp. at that time. Also it may be Charles died in Ill. Or traveled with family to Kansas or Okloh. There may be no grave or record. The family would need to be all checked to see if any info was revealed as to where the family went. What do you think? Linda

James was born in 1817 or 1818 in Maryland MD, and according to later census records both of his parents were born in Maryland. Isabella Varner was born in Maryland in 1818 or 1819, and her father's name may have been Anthony Varner. They had the following children: William P. or William B. b. 1840 in Ohio Elis (Elisabeth or Elizabeth) b. 1841-1842 in Ohio Stephen (Steffan) b. 1843-1844 in Ohio Margaret b. 1845-1846 in Ohio John b. 1850-1851 in Ohio James b. 1854-1855 in Ohio Mary (or May) Bell b. 1856-1857 in Ohio Jennie b. 1848-1849 in Ohio, but not listed with family on 1850 or 1860 census (Listed in 1870 with family). According to census records, the family lived in Beaver Creek OH (1840), Xenia OH (1850), Spring Valley OH (1860) then migrated to Spring Grove Illinois IL in Warren County by 1870. Isabella died between 1870 and 1880 (1874 possibly). Most of the family later moved to Caldwell County Missouri MO by 1880. James (the father) lived the rest of his days with his son Stephen and died in 1905 in Gomer, MO Caldwell Co. Any help that could be offered would be appreciated.

Here is what I have; I have posted this at the rootsweb site as well as replying to your email, so that the info can help others: In 1920, Cyrus Eisenman, son of John Henry Eisenman and Emma Jane Brosius, was age 33 and living with his mother and stepfather in Black Creek Twp in Luzerne Cty, PA. Emma was then remarried to a Monroe Weikel, and she and Monroe had a daughter named Rita Weikel. We do not know what happened to John Henry Eisenman, whether he had died or whether he and Emma had divorced. Also living in the house were Emma's children with John Henry Eisenman, which were Cyrus, and his brothers Herman or Herbert, Norman and sister Emma. Cyrus was separated from his wife, Grace McGlynn Eisenman, who was also living in Black Creek, though i a separate home; she had Floyd, Edgar, William and Dale living with her then, which were her children with Cyrus Eisenman. William is my grandfather. There may be other children of Cyrus and Grace McGlynn; or of Grace McGlynn's from a preious relationship or marriage. Grace also later lived with a man named Henry Vogt, though I do not believe they ever married. That's really all I know. My mom and I want to go to an Eisenman family reunion in the Luzerne Cty PA area, being held in August, and hope to get more info then. Any info you may have would be greatly appreciated.
