Hi everyone, I'm new to the list and thought I would post my people for your consideration. PLEEZ help me. <grin> Jacob D. McCauley was born circa 1842-43 in Ohio. He married Celestine E. (McHenry) Baxter, who born 13 Decmber 1843, Lima, Ohio. I believe they might have been married in Lima, Allen County, Ohio in the early 1870s. They moved to Hillsdale, Hillsdale County, MI, a suburb of Detroit, sometime between 1875 and 1879. I found them on the Hillsdale census in 1880. Presuably they moved again to Los Angeles, California, because Celestine died in Los Angeles, CA on 16 June 1917. Celestine and Jacob had two daughters: Maude Mary "Mame" McAuley, born circa 1875, Ohio E.
