Her father was a James McCauley and mother was a Margaret Higgins. My grandmother's name was Margaret, the same as her mother's,and she was born in Phoenixville in 1856. She married John McCullough in Phila., Pa. in 1892. He was also born in Phoenixville, Pa. On Margaret's baptisimal certificate where is a name of the godparents as a Dennis McCauley and a Mary Higgins. Do you have anything on them in your records .
