Hiram McCauley was the son of Silas Obadiah McColley and Isabel Peasley. He was born 22 July 1872 in Columbus, Ohio. His grandparents were Thomas McColley (son of John McCawley and Margaret?) and Sarah A. Thompson (daughter of Obadiah Thompson and Nancy Wallace). I am a descendant of Thomas McColley thru his son Benjamin Franklin McColley. I seem to recall that Hiram McColley died around Dayton, Ohio. I may have a copy of his death certificate in my files. I would love to share information with any of the relatives of John McCawley. I have traced them to Hampshire Co., WV.
