He married SARAH JANE COBB born abt. 1831 in Madison County, Ms. daughter of NATHANIEL COBB and JANE RUSSELL. Children: Nathaniel Dixon - 1851, Hull Lavatus - 1854, Mary Elizabeth - 1855, Robert - 1863, and my gg grandmother SARAH FRANCES born August 24, 1859, Jackson Co, Ms. She married JAMES PARKER LEEPER. My grandmother GEORGIA ANN LEEPER had a book I think was titled "A Man Named McCauley" that must have been compiled in 1970-80. We were not able to find it after she was deceased. Does anyone researching the Mccauley family have a copy or know where one might be found. I would be willing to pay to have a copy made if someone has a source. Thank you for any assistance.
