She probably migrated to Nebraska with her family after 1880. She married James Shephard Harris November 12, 1896 in Dawes County, Nebraska. She had four children: Thomas James, Olive May, Hazel Helen, and Arthur John. Census records indicate that both her parents were from Ireland.
