McCauley's family with all their children and his wife. But that is at home and I am currently at work. I'll try to send the picture later. William S. McCauley's brothers and sisters helped settle Clay County and the Lewisville area. We believe his father immigrated from Ireland in the early 1800's. I remember his children as Fanny, Chainey, Levi, Evert, Theodore and Margaret Jane. Evert was my maternal grandfather. Evert, Levi and Theodore moved to Stuttgart Arkansas about 1906 to farm rice and were successful farmers. William S. McCauley also had a sister named Sarah Jane that married David Franklin Brewer. One of this man's ancestors was killed in a car accident in Kansas with nearly his entire family. I have no idea if I am related to David F. Brewer through my Tennessee Brewer's, but I have a William Franklin Brewer and a John Franklin Brewer in my father's lineage. More later, Bob Brewer bbrewer@lamar.colostate.edu
