Hi Ed, The time and place fit my Joseph McCauley, born Aug 8, 1820. One set of family information says he was born in Chester Co, PA, and another says Philadelphia, PA. I don't know which is right. His children were Mary, Rebecca, William, Frank, Charles, Samuel, Emma, Albert, and George. Joseph and Ruth B. Reed were married in Salem, Columbiana Co, OH in 1844. Ruth was from a Quaker family.
