    2. My Joseph McCauley was born in Pennsylvania in 1820. From there he went to Ohio. He spent some time in Hancock, Allen and Wood Counties. All in Ohio. Sorry. Arlene

    2. I am a McCaulley researcher and have been reading the correspondence on Joseph McCaulley. I have a John McCaulley, (my great grandfather) and John was born Oct 13, 1819 in Lancaster, Co, Pa. He married Rebecca Hastings March 7, 1841 in Green County, Ohio. He may have moved several times and finally moved settled in Davis County Iowa in 1846 and died there Oct 11, 1889. Is it possible that your Joseph and my John are related? I have been unable to find John's father. Do you have any information on Joseph's parents? Thanks much, Jim McCaulley, Corrales, NM > My Joseph McCauley was born in Pennsylvania in 1820. From there he went to > Ohio. He spent some time in Hancock, Allen and Wood Counties. 3. Hi Jim, Have you worked Lancaster Co, PA? There are at least 2 MAC clans there bef 1800 and probably later, one in Little Brittan Twp and another in Salisbury Twp and both have Johns. 3. Arlene, did your Joseph make it to the 1880 census that shows where his parents were born? Hal ARZOMCL@cs.com wrote: > My Joseph McCauley was born in Pennsylvania in 1820.
