I have seven or eight Betty McCauley's of WV on my family lines. Can you give a little more to go on.
I'm looking for any McCauley's that may have ties to Dunmore, PA. My grandfathers name was Victor McCauley and he was born in 1911. My fathers name is Charles William McCauley, born in 1944. I also have two half brothers I'm searching for named William and Raymond McCauley. They may no longer live in the area. Any help would be appreciated!
You wouldn't happen to have a brother named William would you?

McCauley, head bookkeeper of the firm of R. B. Wigton & Sons, of Philipsburg, died suddenly under very sad circumstances. He had been in ill health for some time and was attending the funeral of his little child. After the ceremony was o v or in the cemetery, an accident occurred just outside the gates of the burial ground causing the horses to kick violently. This so excited, the ladies in the carriage that they screamed loudly, and in his eager desire to assist them Mr. McCauley was observed to stumble and full. One of the horses of the team by some means got a leg over the tongue of the carriage, and in trying to extricate itself from the position caused an amount of excitement which reached the carriage occupied by Mr. and Mrs. McCauley. The scream which came from Mrs. McCauley, added to his weak condition and the fright, and possibly an affection of the heart caused by the rheumatism from which he hail been suffering fur so long, was the cause of the death. He was lifted from the carriage, and medical aid sent for. The funeral ceremony was conducted by Rev. S. A. Cornelius, but Mrs. McCauley's condition, was so critical that she did not attend at the grave. Dr. Allport was speedily in attendance, but the stricken one was past all human aid. Hi Everyone, This is a wild stab in the dark .....Does any one have an Abby McCauley? I Found a picture of Abby that was in an old family scrap book. William b. 21 May 1823, Philadelphia Pa. d. 4 June 1864 (killed in the Civil War) Married Mary C. (Molly) Glenn b. 21 April 1826 d. 24 Jan. 1911 James H. McCauley 182[4] ? in Philadelphia Pa. Thanks Ed McCauley
Can any one help. I'm stuck ! My ggrandfather Frederick Kramer b. 1870 NY married Mary McCauley b. 1874 NY sometime around 1895 in NY. Children were Gertrude b. 1896 Frederick b.1898 and my grandfather Albert b. 1901. I found the family on the 1900 Census in Brooklyn and I have birth records for the 3 children. I can't find any other info on Mary McCauley. Does anyone know who her parents were or when she died. The census says both her parents were born in Ireland. Please Help !
Hymen LEWIS, 17 years old, of 58 Morrell street, and Charles MULLER, 21 years old, of 98 Cannon street, Manhattan, were held in $2,000 bail by Magistrate FURLONG to-day, on a charge of blackmail. They were arrested late last night by Detectives KLETZ, McCAULEY, BRADY and McCLOSKEY, at the corner of Siegel street and Manhattan avenue, after getting some marked money from Abraham LUBIN, a middle-aged peddler, of 175 Lorimer street.
Have you tried the Quaker records for your MAC's for Delaware and Maryland? The ares that you are speaking about had a strong Quaker connection. Happy digging!!
Hiram McCauley was the son of Silas Obadiah McColley and Isabel Peasley. He was born 22 July 1872 in Columbus, Ohio. His grandparents were Thomas McColley (son of John McCawley and Margaret?) and Sarah A. Thompson (daughter of Obadiah Thompson and Nancy Wallace). I am a descendant of Thomas McColley thru his son Benjamin Franklin McColley. I seem to recall that Hiram McColley died around Dayton, Ohio. I may have a copy of his death certificate in my files. I would love to share information with any of the relatives of John McCawley. I have traced them to Hampshire Co., WV. They may have been from Maryland before that. >I'm looking for any information on Hiram and Bessie M. Hal, I am trying to untangle the Barney McCauley line. He arrived in New Castle De about 1750. Married Ann Miller, a swiss girl whose parents had died on the voyage. They settled in Cecil Ct, MD. There they had a number of children, who all had children all with the same names. I am trying to connect Barney with Mary helen McCaulley who wed Ezekiel boulden in 1852 still in Cecil Ct. She was born 1830, but I'm not sure to whom. Any help?
