Sharon, By any chance do you know the father of William? I have a Leonard Clinton McCarty born in Wisconsin in 1874 who moved to Idaho. He arrived after 1906. So he is not a direct relation. But might be a cousin. His father was from Ohio and moved to Wisconsin after the civil war. Perhaps others of the family headed west too? terri
