Looking for anyone who happens to know my McCarty Family????? I am looking for parents, other siblings and any information on the family of James H. McCarty who married Susannah (Susan) Jane Beavers 2-5-1866 Richland Co.Illinois. . He died 9-3-1890 in Edgar Co. Illinois. Then she brought the children to Parke Co. IN. She died 5-23-1906 in Parke Co. IN. All I know is James H. McCarty was born in KY. Children born to James H. McCarty and Susan Jane (Beavers) McCarty: (All born ar Richland Co, Illiniois.) Family lived in Chrisman Illinois for awhile. 1. Oliver Madison McCarty b. 4-414-1867 d. 7-19-1914 Parke Co. IN. 2. Daniel Frederick McCarty b. 6-28,1869 3. John William McCarty b.10-08-1874 (Last known was living in Jetmore, Kansas in 1943) 4. Iola Alice McCarty b. 7-12-1878 She was a Dodson 5. Bertie Ralph McCarty b. 9-13-1880 d. 10 11-1905 Parke Co. IN 7. Cora Elizabeth McCarty b. 8-12-1883 d. 8-6-1945 Vermillion Co. IN 8. Charles Edward McCarty b. 7-16-1886 d. 6-6-1943 Parke Co. IN James H. McCarty enlisted 6-13-1861 in Company I and was in the 21st Regiment of the Illinois Vol. he served in the rebellion, and was honorably Discharged on 7-5-1864 and died 9-3-1890 in the County Poor House near Paris Illinois. I know he had a brother John A McCarty who gave a statement in Crawford Co. Illinois for Susan McCarty as to the knowledge that he was the brother James H. McCarty and James H.
