Now that everyone is awake I guess its time for me to post my McCarty Charles McCarty bn abt 1812 in Ireland probibly County Cork. He married Julia Lorden She was born 2/2/1825 in Drishanebeg County Cork Ireland They sailed for America in 1848 while Julia was pregnant with my gggrandmother Ellen who was born 11/24/1848 in Rosendale NY 1850 Rosendale cencus has Charles listed as a 38 year old laborer Living next door was a Dennis McCarty who is thought to be his brother. Charles died sometime before 1856 Charles and Julia had 3 children Ellen 11/24/1848 Dennis bn abt 1850 d.5/17/1902 married Ella Liason Bridget bn abt 1851 Ellen married my GGgrandfather Robert J Dixon 1/23/1868 in Rosendale.
