He is Young's great grandson I believe. He ain't no spring chicken either. I'm 56 and Reuben is my g g grandfather. There is a Toliver McCarty in Ninety-Six, SC whose father was 52 when he was born. Some of these McCarty's have had children when they were old enough to be grandparents. My father, Paul M. McCarty, Sr was born in 1920. My grandfather, Samuel Preston McCarty was born in 1879.
