I have a McCarty line in Ohio. I have a John that was born 1798 in Virginia and moved to Ohio. The move occured in the early 1830's. John married Elizabeth Ann Sims and they had William 1822, James A. 1828, Thomas R. 1830, and John (Jack) 1831 while in Virginia. After they moved to Ohio they had Mary 1836, George 1838 David 1844. We beleive that they also had a Sarah and possibly a second daughter named Mary. Unfortunately we know nothing of John's parents or siblings. John and Elizabeth are buried in the Deerfield cem. in Morgan Co. Ohio. terri
