Cliff, I see you have an Albert McCarty. Do you know when he was born and if he disappeared? Do you know who his sons are. My husbands grandfather came from the states but know one knows where. The family came originally from Cork Co Ireland I have been told. There has been mention of a Young McCarty and a King McCarty. My husbands grandfather was a carpenter and died of blood poisioning. He came to Canada with 4 or 5 sons Clifford,Orm ,Elmer,Alfred. I do not know who his first wife was. My husbands father was by a second marriage. I think one of his sons married his second wifes sister or else it was a brother. He married Eva Cook in about 1915.
