Dear Kathy, Benjamin (5), Isaac (4), Benjamin (my ancestor) (3), Silas (2), John (1) Benjamin (5) and Lavina Harding lived in Penn Twp., Lycoming Co., PA. He died in 1853. A recent article in our local paper featured farmers who have weathered the storm of farming, and Benjamin McCarty who is about 46 years is one who is still farming on the original McCarty farm in Penn Twp.
