Albert's wife may have been the daughter of Levi Gentry living near by. Both Albert McCarty and Levi Gentry families moved to Lowndes Co., MS before 1850. More on these families later. It will probably take me a couple of weeks to get it all done. Boy, I wish my McCarty's were from Edgefield, I feel like I'm missing out on all the fun (mine are from PA).
