Analle, Could you check the "Virginia McCarty's" book that you have and see if there is any mention of a John that Elizabeth Sims in 1820. Or any of the McCarty's that lived in the Culpepper/Orange county area. If there should happen to be a lot of information let me know and I will see about purchasing the book. Thanks. Terri
