Hey all, Jean's post has spurred me to report that I have GOT to be honing in on my AL McCartys!!! Would anyone with descendants that pass through AL in mid to late 1800s please post those McCartys? I know there are some in the Edgefield SC tree and now these in Jean's lines. The man I am looking for is Thomas H. McCarty, born Jan 21, 1885 in Goodwater, Coosa County AL. Not like I haven't posted this info before, but while AL is coming up in the confab, I thought I would re-post. I can smell a cousin out there somewhere!
