I don't know exactly what I sent you a minute ago, but this is what I sent Carol. Dennis McCarty, Jr. and his first wife, Nancy, had a son named Andrew Jackson McCarty b about 1815. But I have a Susan P Dabney listed as his wife. Married at the home of John Kirksey, by Wm. H. Atkinson, Esq. Edgefield Advertiser. I figure that he was about 34 so this could very well have been a 2nd marriage.
