Just before I stupidly trashed my stored email messages a few weeks ago, someone sent me a query about Sarah McCarty, who married (I believe) an EAKIN in Lincoln Co., NC, in the late 1700's. The questioner wanted to know whether I had any information about her, and especially whether she was related to Daniel McCarty, whose will was written there in 1782. Unfortunately, I have no information regarding Sarah, although it does seem plausible that she was somehow related to Daniel. If the person who sent the query to me sees this message, I apologize for not replying directly to you, but I'd inadvertently deleted your address.
