My gggrandfather was James Bunting, born 1828 in Canada. Census records show his father to have been born in New York, his mother in Canada. I do not have names or dob for either of them. James married Mary McCann (b. abt. 1833 in Ireland) and they had children born in Canada. John, b. abt. 1854, and Mary (aka Maria), b. abt. 1855. A 1870 US census shows them to be in Iowa, with the youngest of their children born in Iowa. Her name was Rosella, born in 1861. She was my ggrandmother. Any information you might be able to provide me is appreciated. I will be happy to share what I have, if you wish.
