Is your family linked to the family os S. Wolin who posted above? Or to the McCann's of West Meath-see above? I have William McCann (b Dec 1820)coming to New York in 1847 with his sister Ann (b abt 1827-30). They came from Fallaghearn,county Tyrone. They arrived in NY and moved pretty quickly to MD. Then to California. I have never been able to tell if other sibs came with them. Wm was 27 when he came. His parents were dead when they came to the USA.
