Her father was Walter L.(I believe Laurence)McCann. His father was Lawrence. Both were born in Ireland Lawrence about 1825, Walter about 1871 in Ohio. Lawrence's wife was Susan C. Krise. Walter appears to "disappear" sometime after Edna was born. She takes the last name "Brown". I believe, from what my husband told me, he was the next husband to her mother, Lulu Clifton or Malcolm. Family story was a carnival or circus came to town and Walter "ran away" with them. He went one night and never returned. Does anyone have information as what did happen to Walter?
