I have looked at some of the same listings. My dad was a cowboy who moved around a lot, told a lot of tall tales. His horsemanship was consistent with Californio or Texas. He spoke fluent spanish so he could have come from either state. but texas was of course more romantic. I will keep pursuring the matter, I'll find him one of these days. thanks again.
