Known children are as follows, ALL born in Canada David Shea born 1844 died 1909 Thomas Shea born 1848 died 1919 Ann Jane Shea born abt 1851 Elizabeth Shea born abt 1854 John Shea born abt 1857 Daniel Shea born abt 1859 James Shea born abt 1891 John & Catherine are on the 1851 Canadian Census in Durham County, Manvers Township with David, Thomas and Ann Jane. John is shown as a shoemaker, religion CofE On the 1861 Canadian Census John and Catherine are in Grey County, Holland Township with the above three children plus Elizabeth, John and Daniel. John's occupation is given as farmer On the 1871 Canadian Census John and Catherine are in Bruce District, Elderslie Division with children John, Daniel and James with John's occupation shown as shoemaker The last record found for them was the 1881 Canadian Census in Grey South, Glenlg District. John's occupation is shoemaker . Living with them is a Donald Shea aged 21, born in Ireland and an Angus Paterson, aged 22 also a shoemaker. I would like to find out when John and Catherine came to Canada, where and when they married and when and where each of them died. Also seeking info on their daughter Ann Jane. Any assistance would be so much appreciated. I do have info on some of their children and other descendents that I would be more happy to share.
