My daughter is having Thyroid surgery and I am going down to stay with her for the week. I am VERY interested in where our connection might be and will try to get a chance to look into it more while I'm away if I can....in the meantime, if you haven't already seen my CUTLER FAMILY TREE on ancestry.com please see if you can get to it. It is public, and I have a quite a bit of info on the McCann's in and around Elmira. My lineage with McCann is through a marriage...I don't have my papers handy but I think Susan McCann married a CUTLER and that would probably be our connection. I have not been able to "place" these McCanns in my own Tree, but I hope they help you in your searching for ties...and then maybe also help me to fill in some branches.
