Margaret and John were both listed as born in Ireland, and reported to have been married for 27 years. John was reported as b. Jul 1856 and Margaret b. Jul 1849. Other children were reported as: Mary MCCANN b: Jun 1874 in PA Lizzie MCCANN b: Feb 1876 in PA Rosa MCCANN b: Jul 1877 in PA Alice MCCANN b: Sep 1883 in IL John MCCANN b: Apr 1888 in IL I did not find John and Margaret in 1910, but have found a widowed Margaret McCann listed as age 62 in the household of a William C. Condon 32 a city policeman w/ wife Alice 31 in the 33rd Ward of Chicago. Their address was 7345 Madison Ave. With the Census, you never know who did the reporting; it could have been a child or neighbor. The part which really doesn't fit is that this Margaret McCann in 1910 is listed having had only four children, three surviving, so maybe that was told by someone who just did not know.
