(Other than my father, my three brothers and our children) The closest match is a genetic distance 3, 64/67 match out of Australia. According to FTDNA, not close enough to be considered as "close". There is the possibility that ONE male line may still survive, but the person we are looking for, disappeared in WWII, MIA. There are female surviving members. Admiral AR McCann had three daughters from his legitimate family. His brother died in 1950, having only daughters. That leaves that McCann (as a McCann carrying descendant) line extinct.
