He and his son Edward (about 1 at the time) came to Canada around 1865. His wife (and maybe mother of Edward) was named Agnes. They went to Indiana for a short time and then to Logan County IL, where Patrick stayed until death. Edward married Julia Douglas then later married Mary Ann Mulligan and ended up in Chicago.
