Hi listers, It has been awhile since I have posted on this list. I am looking for information on "MCCANNA" or "MCCANN" which it was sometimes found. Who moved to Missouri from Pennsylvania. "William McCanna" was born in Pa. in 1832 or 1833. The son of "Barnabas McCanna" & "Mary Ann Walker". He married a woman by the name of "Sarah E. ?" (maiden name unknown). "William McCanna" was in the Civil War & enlisted in B Co, 78th Inf. Reg of Pa. Sometime after the War, he & his wife & children moved to Missouri. They were listed in the 1870 Census in Carroll Co. Grand River Twp. "William McCanna" was a carpenter & he died in 1878 there. His wife "Sarah ? McCanna" was listed as head of household in the 1880 Census in Carroll County, DeWitt town or Twp. They had the following children: Ezra J. McCanna.....born...1854 in Pa. John..........................born...1855 in Pa. Laura Rebecca.........born...1858 in Pa. Isabella......................born..1859 in Mo. William.......................born...1863 in Mo. Ulysus S....................born....1866 in Mo Alice..........................born.....1878 in Mo Female......................born......1870 in Mo (this daughter I couldn't make out the name). I believe I found 2 marriages for 2 of the daughters. "Isabella McCanna" married Harry Baird in Carroll Co, Mo. on Aug 25, 1878 "Laura R. McCanna" married Darwin A. Clark in Carroll Co, Mo. on Nov. 3, 1877 If anyone has information on this family or has access to cemeteries in this county of Missouri or can help in any way to find information. I would appreciate any help given. I am also willing to trade information. This is all I have been able to find to date. Thanks Sarah
