Lin: Yes, both Peter and Margaret McCann were born in Ireland, For sure Margaret was born in Armagh, as it was mentioned in a brief newspaper of her death, There were four other children that were on the 1860 Census as having been born in Ireland, Thomas, He came to America in 1852 and his naturalization was final in 1868, Patrick, Ann and Michael, Two more children were born in Mass. I only have the record for Margaret Ann, In checking it again it looks like they came from Londonderry, Ireland I don't know much about Ireland, so don't know where that could be, I have been searching in Mass and have info from people there and could look up what I have. Sorry this is so long, Hope it answers your questions.
