    3. Dodie, I truly defer to your knowledge of this family and will impose once more to help me through this maze. Some questions l. If John is younger than James and Daniel, what birth dates do you fix for each one? 2. If this John disappeared in 1798 (making him a possible candidate for the 1803 John of Wilkes county), is there a census report of 1800 for him? 3. If he left then the Wagon Road south was one alternative but many also went west. I know you did some work on the Johns who went west; IF forced to select one these for the son of Lawrence, who would it be? As you know, I have leaned for several years that the John of Wilkes was the lost son of Lawrence ; perhaps it can not be proven but now I am willing to let others shoot at this prospect.
