Regarding the book I mentioned in that posting, (Jane and all:) Greg, my son, tells me the pages he copied were from microfilm of that old book. I have some of those pages, which show the early names spelled also as M'Can and also as with the small c high following the M Found at the LDS church in Utah. In the basement section. he says he may be able to locate the # of the film and will try to get that for those who might be at that place. The book itself was a pedigree list of all the monarchs families, and succeeding generations, also describing the "Arms" etc. Very interesting book it would seem, and sometimes difficult to decipher. I can only make scanned copies from them...so I have begun scanning, have four pages so far, if anyone would like these please advise, and will send attachments. Mac Can is listed in the Arms as well, Here is what one of the pages says.: spelling as found. A cathalogue of all the Monarchs that have reigned in Ireland, of the line of Heberus-f?onn Ire., and Heremon sons of Mil and are here set down not according to have -------progresion on the overall stemmes, but as they surround one the other be ruling (for the most part) The rest unreadable. The ending says Those from Heremon followeth. This is where the lineage begins. and it is truly awesome, but hard tto follow. though we diid get the McCans who were listed where we could. Dorothy
