Hey group, I have been away for a couple of years and was hoping there might be some new info. Before I start spending money again ordering wills, deeds, etc. If any of you have any per the following people, I would love to see them. I also will transcribe any deeds or wills that anyone wants and then post on the genweb county site. My Daniel is first found in 1820 census Warren,OH Later Census say he was born in PA. His death certificate says that his wife was Sarah Sill. A court filing in Warren names her as Rebecca. I think that she probably carried both names. In York county 1790's there is a William McCann/ David McCann (Daniel also named one of his sons David) and a Samuel Sill all on the same page of the census. in 1800 There are David/Daniel McCann's in Washington Co, OH Then there is Green/Cumberland/Fayette. AND there is a Daniel Sill and a DF Sill also in 1810 Washington Co, OH My Daniel would have been born in 1796 (based on census) The only other McCann ending up in Warren,OH is a J McCann but in another township. I can find no Sill (Sell) on that census until later. So, if I could find a marriage of a McCann and a Sill, wow that would solve the problem. If I were theorizing I would guess that the York David/William went to Washington County then Daniel a son went to Warren and I would theorize that the marriage was into the Daniel and DF line, but no info to support it. If anyone has any court documents of these folks in these areas, I would gladly pay for copies and would gladly transcribe. Dorothy (the other Dorothy)
