Joan, I'm very interested in this note as I cant ID the father of my William McCann b. 1781-1785 in Fayette Co., Pa. died at 1834 Rush Co., Indiana... he married MARY MORRIS b1789 Pa died 1875 Edgar Co.,Illinois. ..I thought she was the daughter of Joseph Morris but I recently found a researcher in Ohio stating she may be daughter of a William Morris? McCann Upon the attachment of James Hagan against Hugh McCann the Garnishee William Morris being sworn declares that he has a Rifle Gun of the Deft's in his hands and that the Deft owes him two pounds and the Deft. failing to appear to -- levy the same tho Solimnly called The Ptf. proved his Demand So is therefore considered by the Court that the Ptf recover against the Deft three pounds five shillings and his costs by him in this behalf expended and was ordered that the Sheriff do sell the attached Rifle gun in the hands of the said Garnishee according to law and under the Balance of the Money arising thereby if any after satisfying the said Garnishees demand to the Plt and satisfying their Judgment.
